Simple braised yee mee noodles. It's so easy to cook & taste just like those Tai Chow stall outside. You can add any ingredients you prefer. Great for a simple meal anytime of the day.

Ingredients : (serves 2)
2 blocks Dried Yee Mee Noodles 2 pieces Fish Cakes - thinly sliced Some Shrimps – deshelled and deveined some Sawi / Cabbage
Some Carrot (julienned) 3 cloves Garlic, chopped finely 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
Seasoning:
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce 1 1/2 cups of Chicken Stock ** Salt and pepper to taste
**(I used 1/4 pc of Anchovies cube to make soup stock. Just dilute them in water)

Step by Step : 1. Saute garlic til fragrant then add in fish cakes.
2. Add in chicken stock and seasoning & bring to a boil.

3. Add in yee mee noodles and carrot.

4. While noodles still crunchy, turn/stir noodles gently (not to break too much noodles or otherwise all will become short short) and make sure it can absorb the gravy evenly.
5. Cook till gravy slightly dries up and noodles slowly turns slightly soft, for about 3-4 mins and add in vegetables and shrimps.
6. Simmer for another 2-3 mins, stirring continuously, make sure noodles, vege & shrimps are fully cook.

7. Dish out & serve immediately.
