Baked Smoked Duck Tomato Spaghetti with Cheese

Sharing a quick and easy meal that you can prepare at home. So yummylicious.


You can cook your spaghetti however you want with what you have. Then just top it with lots of cheese & bake them in the oven.

In my case I am adding smoked duck into it. You can use bacon, ham, minced meat, button mushrooms, capsicum, or whatever you prefer.


Ingredients : (serves 2)

130g Spaghetti (I'm using Vermicelli type - thinner)

1 can Prego Tomato Mushrooms Pasta Sauce

1 pc Tomato - cut into wedges

1 pc Shallot - finely minced

2 cloves Garlic - finely minced

60g Smoked Duck - cut into strip

70g Cheddar Cheese - grated

1 tbsp Olive Oil

Hot water to cook your spaghetti

Step by step:

1. Cook spaghetti in water with a half teaspoon of salt for about 9 mins. (Cook however you like, different types of noodles, different hardness texture) Follow the instructions on the packaging.

2. Lightly pan fry sliced smoked duck in some olive oil. 3. Add in minced shallot & garlic. Sauté till fragrant.

4. Add in tomatoes and saute for a minute.

5. Then add in cooked spaghetti & pour in can of tomato pasta sauce. (in my case, I only pour 3/4 can of it). 6. Stir to mix evenly.

7. Transfer into oven safe container, add a few spoons of tomato pasta sauce onto it & sprinkle grated cheese on top.


8. Bake in preheated oven at 200C for about 6-10 minutes or until cheese melted & turned golden.

9. Remove from oven & serve hot.
