Simple dish again. Great for a quick fix when you want to cook something that can be ready in less than 10 mins.
Ingredients : (serves 2)
1 tube Japanese Tofu 150g (sliced)
50g Minced pork meat
Fried shallot oil
Spring onion for garnishing
1 tbsp Cooking oil
Marinade for minced meat:
1 tsp Sesame oil
Dash of Salt
Dash of White Pepper
1/2 tsp Light soy sauce
Sauce
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
50ml Water
1/2 tsp Sugar
dash of White Pepper
1/2tbsp Starch (mix with some water)
Step by Step:
1. Heat up wok with cooking oil.
2. Stir in marinated minced pork & stir to cook for about 1 minute.
3. Add in japanese tofu & use the ladle to roughly cut the tofu while stirring.
4. Add in water, oyster sauce, sugar & pepper and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
5. Slowly stir in starch mixture while stirring continuously until the sauce reach your desired thickness consistency.
6. Dish up & garnish with fried shallots & spring onions. Serve hot with steamed rice.
