Another simple prawn dish that you can easily prepare within a short period of time. So simple that you only need 3 basic ingredients - prawns, cheese & garlic. Yes, just that's easy. No fancy ingredients.
Ingredients:
8pcs Medium Prawns, shell on
2 cloves Garlic - finely minced
dash of Black Pepper
dash of Salt
Some Olive Oil
Some grated Cheddar Cheese
Some Dried Parsley Flakes (optional)
I'm using tiger prawns for this. You can use any type of prawns to your preference.
Step by Step:
1. Rinse prawns. Cut away part of the head especially the eyes. Remove the sand bag in the head by using a toothpick.
2. Use scissors to cut a slit from the front to the back of the prawn shells and deveins.
3. With a small knife make a small slit along the underneath of the prawns. This is to prevent the prawns to curl up when cooked.
4. Rinse the prawns again and dry gently with kitchen paper.
5. Brush some olive oil in baking tray and place prawns on it.
6. Sprinkle some salt and pepper, chopped garlic, and grated cheddar cheese on top of prawns. Spread open the prawns shells to the sides and stuff in grated cheese in between the shell & meat.
7. Bake at 150C for 12-15 mins or till just cooked.
8. Garnish with dried parsley flakes and serve hot.
Happy Cooking & Enjoy!!
