Fish Maw - Neutral in nature. It tonifies and improves the liver & kidneys, energy and eyesight. Rich in natural collagen and suitable for women especially pregnant women.
Ingredients: (serves 3-4)
1/2 Black Chicken
370g Chinese Cabbage
2 slices Ginger
5pcs (15g) Dried Fish Maw
4pcs Red Dates (big size) - pitted
5pcs Dried Scallops
1 tbsp Wolfberries
1200L Water
Dash of White Pepper
Salt to taste
Step by Step:
1. Rinse chicken & cut into smaller pieces.
2. Rinse all the other ingredients as well. Cut chinese cabbage & set aside.
3. In a pot of water, add in ginger, red dates, dried scallops, wolfberries. Bring a to boil.
4. Add in black chicken and fish maw.
5. Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to let it simmer for 45 mins.
6. Add in chinese cabbage.
7. Continue to simmer on low heat for about 40 mins.
8. Season with salt & pepper before serving. Serve hot.
**Note that bigger portion of soup will need slightly longer cooking time.
