Thai Style Fried Beancurd

Love this simple dish. Just fried the beancurd, garnish and pour over the sauce. I prefer it with lots of julienned carrot and cucumber to go with the crispy beancurd and Thai Chilli sauce.

Ingredients : (serves 2)

350g Square Beancurd (1pc)

Some julienned Carrot

Some julienned Cucumber

3 tbsp Thai Chilli Sauce

1 tbsp Crushed Roasted Peanut (optional)

Oil for frying

Step by Step:

1. Heat up enough oil in the wok for frying. Oil must be really hot in order to get a nice golden skin.

2. Cut beancurd into smaller squares bite size. Dab on kitchen towels to remove excess water from the beancurd. Otherwise it will be serious oil spattering war when frying.

3. Slowly fry beancurd till nice golden & crispy skin . Remove & arrange on plate.

4. Garnish with julienned carrot & cucumber. Slowly pour over Thai chilli sauce and finally some crushed roasted peanut on top.

5. Serve immediately.

Happy Cooking.
