This is a simple dessert that I feel that it's getting not so popular in the new generation household compared to the commons dessert like red bean soup, black glutinous soup or bubur cha cha.
Wheat is rich in fiber, has high protein content and helps stabilize your blood sugar. Not only do high-fiber foods, such as porridge, help with digestion, they also may help you lose weight. Fiber-rich foods are generally low in calories. This helps you stay full longer and may help reduce the amount of food you consume throughout the day.
Ingredients: (serves 3-4)
100g Wheat Pearls
120ml Coconut Milk
7pcs Pandan Leaves
1.1L Water
Rock Sugar to taste
Pinch of salt
Step by Step:
1. Rinse wheat pearls & pandan leaves.
2. Tie pandan leaves into knot.
3. Put wheat pearls, pandan leaves & water in a pot & bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat & let it simmer for 1 hour.
5. Then add in rock sugar & coconut milk. Cook for another 5mins or until rock sugar fully melts and porridge gets abit thickens.

Have a sweet day..
