Simple yet delicious dish to serve with steamed rice.
Ingredients:
1pc Sliced Grouper Fish
2cm Ginger (julienned)
1/2 tsp Fermented Salted Black Beans
1/2 tsp Fermented Soy Beans paste (Taucu)
Pinch of Sugar
1/2 tsp Light Soy Sauce
5-6 tbsp Water (depends how much sauce you want)
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
1 red Chilli Padi (optional)
Step by Step:
1. Heat up cooking oil in pan.
2. Saute ginger, black bean till fragrant.
3. Add in fermented soy beans paste (taucu), chilli padi, sugar, light soy sauce & water. Bring sauce to a boil.
4. Pour sauce over the raw fish slice on the plate.
5. Put sliced fish to steam over rapid boiling water & steam for 10 mins.
6. Ready to serve.
