Baked Sweet Potato

Using Queen's Xense Double Pan to bake sweet potatoes. So easy, you could easily baked a few pieces for breakfast, lunch, tea time or dinner. Just 20 minutes time, you can have freshly baked and piping hot sweet potatoes.

Rather than cooking the usual sweet potato tong sui, now you can have another option too. Same taste like those BBQ sweet potatoes, perhaps I would say even better minus the charcoal ashes flying everywhere.

Just plain baked, no need water, no need oil to cook. 100% healthy.

Ingredients :

3-4 Japanese Sweet Potatoes (medium size)

Step by Step:

1. Scrub and clean the dirt on the outer skin of the sweet potato under running tap water. Pat dry with kitchen paper towel and arrange it in the Queen's Xense Double Pan. If the sweet potato is too big, you may cut them into halves.

2. Cover, lock and cook over lower heat for about 20 minutes(depending on the size of the sweet potato, sometime you might need more than 20 minutes to cook it), flipping the pan to the other side every 4-5 minutes to evenly cooked on all sides.

3. After 20 minutes, open the pan and test it with a skewer insert to check whether the sweet potato has cooked through and soften. You will be able to poke all the way in when it's soft & cooked. (usually afetr cooked, the outer skin will be slightly char-grilled black in colour)
