Garlic Fried Rice


Wondering what to do with left-over rice, don't throw it away. Simply fry with some garlic & there you have a bowl of fried rice goodness.

Garlic helps strengthen immune system, lowers sugar level, prevent hypertensions, reduces cholesterol, strengthen the heart & full of vitamin C & B6.

One word - it's a natural antibiotic.

This Garlic Fried Rice recipe uses only simple ingredients. You can add meat, chicken or other ingredients that you can find at home. This is flexible.

Ingredients : (serves 1)

1 bowl of cooked rice (preferably kept overnight)

2 clove Garlic - finely minced

1 Egg

20g Frozen Corn

35g Frozen Green Peas

2 tbsp Cooking Oil

Seasoning :

1/4 tsp Salt

2 tsp Light Soy Sauce

Step by Step:

1. Heat some cooking oil in the pan.

2. Saute minced garlic until fragrant & light brown. Don't let it burnt.

3. Add in cooked rice, corn & green peas. Stir for about 1 min to break the grains apart.

4. Add seasoning and mix until all grains are well coated.

5. Make a well in the center of the pan by pushing the rice to the sides. Add few drops of oil in the center and crack the egg in it.

6. Let it cook for about 30 seconds, flip it over and mix with the rice. Breaking it up as you do so.

7. Continue to stir for about 1 minute or until egg are all fully cooked.'

8. Dish up & serve immediately.
