One of my favourite dim sum dish. Simple list of ingredients needed & just steam it. No stir frying, no oil splatting all over the kitchen, no oil/smoke smell all over your shirt. And yes, that's the reasons why I love steam dishes. Less oil & more healthy.
Ingredients : (Serves 2)
180g pork ribs - cut into bite size
1 tsp fermented black bean - wash & lightly smashed
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 tbsp ginger - minced
1/2 tsp corn/tapioca starch
Seasoning :
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
dash of pepper
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp shaoxing wine
2 tbsp water
*Optional : Red Chillies for Garnishing
Steps by Steps:
1. Clean pork ribs & marinate pork ribs with salted black beans, garlic, ginger and seasonings. 2. Add cornstarch & mix evenly. Set aside & let it marinate for at least 20-30 minutes.
3. Arrange pork nicely on the plate before steaming. Make sure evenly line & not overlapping. Otherwise, those part will be difficult to cook.
4. Steam pork ribs over rapid boiling water for 10 minutes.
5. Garnish with red chillies. Ready to serve.
