Pan Fried Minced Pork Patties


A plate of pan-fried pork patties is always so much interesting than a plate of luncheon meat.

This is a dish which I often cook because it is very easy and simple to prepare and it tastes very delicious. You can add in whatever condiments that you can find in the fridge. You really can't go wrong with this dish.

Ingredients : (serves 2-3)

300gm minced pork

10gm sweet corn

10gm shredded carrot

5gm cloud black fungus, soaked & thinly sliced

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

dash of pepper

1/2 tsp light soy sauce

1/4 tsp sugar

1/8 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp water

cooking oil for pan frying

Steps by steps :

1. Marinate minced pork with light soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt & pepper. Leave for about 15 mins.

2. Break the egg in a large bowl. Add 1/2 tsp water & use a fork to beat till combine. Put all the other ingredients into the egg mixture. Stir to combine evenly.

3. Now, heat the pan with some oil. Use a chinese soup spoon & scoop a spoonful of the mixture into the pan. Spread & flaten abit while pan-frying. Keep repeat for the rest of the egg mixture.

4. Fry both sides till golden brown.

5. Ready to serve.

Optional : You can replace other ingredients to your own preference. Be creative.
