Tuna Potato Cakes

Easy and yummy dish, turn your canned tuna into something different. Simple and easy to prepare with common ingredients at home.



Ingredients :

2 pcs Potatoes (about 270g)

60g Tuna in can (in Oil/Brine) (drained)

2 tbsp Carrot (chopped)

1 pc Shallot (minced)

Some chopped scallion

1/4 tsp Salt

Dash of Black Pepper

1 tbsp Corn Flour

Bread crumb for coating

Oil for pan frying


Step by Step:

1. Cut potatoes in thin slices and steam for 20 mins or until soft.

2. Mash potatoes with a fork.

3. Add in tuna, carrot, shallot, scallion, salt, black pepper, corn flour. Mix till well combine.


4. Take some potato mixture and shape into a ball. Then lightly press to flatten abit.


5. Coat with bread crumbs on all sides.


6. Heat up pan with some oil. Pan fry potato cakes till golden on both sides.

7. Dish up and ready to serve.
