The Chinese believes that Gold Ingots ( 元宝 / Yuanbao) are auspicious symbols of Prosperity, Wealth and good fortune.

And as Chinese New Year is just around the corner, why not make this Gold Ingots jelly for family members. Cute ingot shaped jellies, refreshing dessert for everyone.
The below recipe makes 9 ingots, uses only 1 mould. No extra agar-agar mixture, just perfect to fill up all 9 ingots.
Do double or triple the recipe if you have more moulds. Or you can use on other jelly mould shapes as well.
Ingredients:
175ml Mango Yogurt Drink
75ml Water
2g Agar-Agar Powder
1/4 tsp Instant Jelly Powder
15g Sugar
You will need :
Ingot jelly mould : Size 21.5cm x 21.5cm

Step by Step:
1. In a pot, add in water, agar-agar powder, jelly powder and sugar. Stir to mix evenly.
2. Turn on heat and bring to a boil over low heat. Stirring continuously.
3. Let it simmer for 5 mins till everything dissolves.
4. Turn off heat, add in 175ml mango yogurt drink. Stir to mix.

5. Pour mixture into ingot mould.
6. Leave the tray to cool down at room temperature, then transfer to fridge to let it set.
(about 4 hours to set completely)

7. Carefully unmould & serve chilled.
