Writer: Michelle LeeMichelle Lee

Simple cabbage patties in onion rings. Such a great way to trick your little ones to eat more greens. It's crunchy & doesn't have that cabbage taste at all.

Ingredients : (serves 2)

80g Cabbage

20g Carrot

1 pc Egg

1 pc Onion (big)

1 tbsp All Purpose Flour

1/2 Tsp Light Soy Sauce

Dash of White Pepper

Pinch of Salt

Step by Step :

1. Chopped cabbage & carrot.

2. Slice onion into thick rings. Only used the few slices with bigger outer rings.

3. Crack egg into a big bowl. Add in all seasoning, chopped cabbage & carrot. Stir to mix evenly.

4. Add flour to the egg mixture to bind everything together so that it doesn't easily crumbly during pan frying.

5. Heat up oil in pan. Lay few onions rings in the pan. Spoon a spoonful of egg mixture to fill up each of the onion rings.

6. Pan fry on one side till golden, then carefully flip & cook the other side.

7. Repeat till all egg mixture used up.

8. Dish up & ready to serve. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or just eat it on its own.

Happy Cooking.
