Smashed baby potatoes are perfect as side dish as well as enjoying them on it's own. Great for any occasions. Simple and easy to prepare. It's delicious, soft and creamy inside while outer skin is crunchy.
We love dipping them with Japanese sesame sauce.
Ingredients:
210g Baby Potatoes
1 tbsp Butter (melted)
Sea Salt
Black Pepper Powder
Some olive oil
Method:
1. Rinse and boil baby potatoes for 15 mins. Drain well.
2. Place baby potatoes in baking tray, lay with non stick baking paper.
3. Lightly smashed baby potatoes with a chopper knife of base of cup or whatever flat until they cracked open & flatten.
4. Brush them with melted butter, sprinkle sea salt & black pepper on them. And finally some olive oil.
(butter melted in microwave at 10 secs interval until fully melted)
5. Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 20 mins.
6. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
