If you love ABC soup, this is something very similar. A very homey taste. Fish balls & fish will give the soup the natural sweetness. Kids will surely like this soup too. Perfect for a simple meal at home.
Here I'm using Threadfin fish. In Malay known as Ikan Kurau. In Hokkien "Ngoh Her". This fish can be easily available in wet markets. The meat is very fine and sweet. You can use any other type of fish to your preference, such as red snapper or grouper which is of sweeter taste in nature. Not suitable for fishes like mackarel (Ikan kembong) or sardine.
